On Tuesday at the GOCA meeting we will have Joe Beach, Director of the Office of Management and Budget for Montgomery County who will discuss the budget and the financial resources available to address it. He will review the structures of fixed and variable costs, the major cost centers and the duties of the County Executive and the County Council in these areas. He will also show us how the process progresses and note where we as citizens can have input in the proposals.
The second presentation will be from Arnie Gordon (a member of the Tax Assessment Appeals Board) who will give us information on how to appeal a Property Tax assessment.
Joy Turner from the Sandy Spring Citizens Association will speak briefly about the proposal to put an EZ Storage facility on Route 108 where the rental business used to be located.
