The Officers and Delegates of the Greater Olney Civic Association shall join one another for a Thank You dinner and social on Tuesday the 8th of August 2017 at 5:45 p.m. at the Montgomery Country Club, located on Md. Rt. 108, 5.5 miles west of “downtown” Olney, in Laytonsville, Maryland.
The event is returning to the annual GOCA calendar as a way to thank those individuals who have served and contributed during the past year to the GOCA mission of improving the overall interests and community life of Olney, making it a great place to live and work.
The Greater Olney Civic Association was formed in 1978. The Association consists of over 30 home owners and civic associations in the greater Olney area. Greg Intoccia, of the Ashley Hollow Home Owner’s Association, currently serves as the GOCA President. Greg said “We must express our gratitude to the talented pool of community volunteers who have worked so hard to make Olney the attractive, vibrant place that it is. The dinner is simply a way of expressing our appreciation to them for all their efforts.”
