Dream Dinners Fundraiser

GOCA is launching a fundraiser…. that we are sure will be a win-win situation for you and for GOCA; and may introduce you to a great dinner preparation concept right around the corner in Cloverly.

GOCA is partnering with Dream Dinners, a unique company founded on a mission of bringing families together around the dinner table from November 13 – December 8, 2006 at their store in Cloverly Towne Centre, 720 Cloverly Street (Silver Spring, MD 20905) – on the second floor of the new building adjacent to the Safeway near the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Briggs Chaney Road.

Dream Dinners provides everything you need to assemble great dinners, offers freedom from the hassles surrounding the planning and preparation of meals night after night, and gives you and friends and family an opportunity to come together in a fun-filled setting to assemble numerous “Dream Dinners” in just two quick hours.

And when you sign up for a session or two or more, go to the Dream Dinners store in Cloverly to assemble your fix and freeze dinners, and present the attached flyer, GOCA receives a donation from Dream Dinners based on the number of dinners purchased by participants in the GOCA fundraiser.

You get some help in the kitchen and GOCA gets some help with its Treasury which helps us in all of our efforts on behalf of the greater Olney community.

  • to go to their Menus and Sessions page to:
    • register at the Cloverly location (zip code 20905); and
    • select your dinners from their monthly menus
• Then, at the time you have signed-up for, go to the store in Cloverly, mention that you are participating in the GOCA fundraiser and present a copy of this flyer.
• And then, for every 36-71 servings you assemble, Dream Dinners donates $10 to GOCA, and for 72 servings or more, they donate $20 to GOCA. (Large dinners provide 6 servings, and medium dinners provide 3 servings.)

Remember you take the assembled dinners home and freeze them, if you can’t use them right away, and then you pull them out as you need them. Or you might buddy up with some friends or family, assemble the meals, and then share the cost and split up the dinners between you. A few of you can even go together to assemble the meals together.

Dream Dinners’ menus change each month, so you can go in November, and then go back in December and have different menus to pick from.

For the Holiday Season There Are Some Special Sessions to Suit Your Needs

To accommodate people's busy holiday schedules, Dream Dinners has the following special sessions. Any questions just give Dream Dinners a shout:

 **Private Parties: Family Reunion? Have a Prep Party for the holidays! For a group of 10, we will open the store just for you. You can bring drinks and we will serve dinners. It will be a fun and productive evening!

**Home Work Thursdays: Thursdays at 4:30 pm, kids can do home work in our comfy couch area while you can be productive, too. Kids must be 5 and older - reservation required.

**Free Form Fridays: Want to have an extra order of the family's favorites? There is no minimum required here. Simply order via phone or email and show up any time between 1 and 5 pm on Fridays.

**Walk in Sundays: Don't want to bother with reservations? Just drop in between 1 and 3 pm on Sundays, and see what we have. Make as many or as few as you'd like - WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!

**Last Call of the Month: Depending on when we switch to next month's menu, we will schedule the Last Call and notify you via Quick Note e-mail. So watch for that as we get closer to the end of the month.

**Singles Party, Any One?: Off and on we heard suggestions about organizing a session just for the singles. If you are interested, send us an email. With enough interests, a targeted invitation will come your way shortly.
